Does DocR-Works upload my documents?

No. On Android, all processing happens on your device. See the privacy policy.

Which Android versions are supported?

Android 11 or newer.

Where are my files saved?

By default in Documents/DocR-Works. In the app’s About screen you can pick your own folder or be asked every time.

Can it open old .doc and .ppt files?

Not yet. Save them as .docx or .pptx first.

Why does a converted PDF look different from the original?

Converting a PDF to Word, Excel or PowerPoint rebuilds the layout, so complex pages may not match exactly. Use the exact layout mode when appearance matters more than editing.

Android asks me to allow an install. Is that normal?

Yes, for any app installed from a file instead of Google Play. The Android download on the Products page is a test build, and its SHA-256 checksum is listed there so you can verify the file.
